Up until today, there were only black and white images on the front page of this blog. In a way I’m happy with that, but there’s no reason to ignore color, or any type of photography for that matter.

I enjoyed these photos by Joyce Kim, which may look familiar to anyone spending time looking at photography online: they’re shot in a style that you can find in abundance these days—should we call them “contemporary”? shoot me please—and indeed they are the product of an art school grad. But they’re executed so cleanly, and with such consistency, that I found them really fresh.
